Rapporté par `Abdullâh bin `Umar (رضي الله عنه) : « Le Prophète (ﷺ) a rencontré Zayd bin `Amr bin Nufayl au fond de (la vallée de) Baldah avant que toute Inspiration Divine soit arrivée au Prophète. Un repas a été présenté au Prophète (ﷺ) mais il a refusé d’en manger. (Ensuite, ce repas a été présenté à Zayd) qui a dit : "Je ne mange rien de ce que vous égorgez au nom de vos idoles de pierre. Je ne mange que ces choses sur lesquelles le Nom d’Allâh a été mentionné au moment de l’égorgement." Zayd bin `Amr avait l’habitude de critiquer la façon dont Quraysh égorgeait leurs animaux, et disait : "Allâh a créé le mouton et Il a envoyé l’eau pour celui-ci du ciel, et Il a fait pousser l’herbe pour celui-ci de la terre; pourtant, vous l’égorgez à autre qu’au Nom d’Allâh." Il avait l’habitude de dire cela, car il rejetait cette pratique et la considérait comme quelque chose d’abominable. » [Al-Bukhârî 3826]

Rapporté par Asmâ’ bint Abî Bakr (رضي الله عنها) : « J’ai vu Zayd bin `Amr bin Nufayl se tenant debout avec son dos contre la Ka`bah et dire : "Ô gens de Quraysh! Par Allâh, aucun d’entre vous n’est dans la religion d’Ibrâhîm, sauf moi." Il avait l’habitude de préserver la vie des petites filles : Si quelqu’un voulait tuer sa fille, il lui disait : "Ne la tue pas car je vais la nourrir à ta place." Alors, il l’amenait (la fille), et lorsqu’elle grandit bien, il disait à son père : "Si tu la veux maintenant, je te la donnerais, et si tu veux, je la nourrirait à ta place." » [Al-Bukhârî 3828] 

Il est mort avant que toute Révélation soit arrivée au Prophète (ﷺ). Qu’Allâh lui fasse miséricorde.

Narrated 'Abdullah Ibn 'Umar (رضي الله عنه): The Prophet (ﷺ) met Zayd Ibn 'Amr Ibn Nufail in the bottom of (the valley of) Baldah before any Wahy (Divine Inspiration) came to the Prophet (ﷺ). A meal was presented to the Prophet (ﷺ) but he refused to eat from it. (Then it was presented to Zayd) who said, "I do not eat anything which you slaughter in the name of your stone idols. I eat none but those things on which Allah's Name has been mentioned at the time of slaughtering." Zayd Ibn 'Amr used to criticise the way Quraish used to slaughter their animals, he used to say, "Allah has created the sheep and He has sent the water for it from the sky, and He has grown the grass for it from the earth; yet you slaughter it in other than the Name of Allah." He used to say so, for he rejected that practice and considered it as something abominable. [Al-Bukhari: 3826].

Narrated Asma bint Abi Bakr (رضي الله عنها): I saw Zayd Ibn 'Amr Ibn Nufail standing with his back against the Ka'bah saying, "O people of Quraish! By Allah, none amongst you is on the Religion of Ibrahim (عليه السلام) except me." He used to preserve the lives of little girls: If somebody wanted to kill his daughter he would say to him, "Do not kill her for I will feed her on your behalf." So he would take her, and when she grew up nicely, he would say to her father, "Now if you want her, I will give her to you, and if you wish, I will feed her on your behalf." [Al-Bukhari: 3828].

He died before any Revelation came to the Prophet (ﷺ). May Allah have mercy on him.

Mu`âwiyah a été confirmé comme étant au Paradis | Mu`aawiyah is Confirmed to be in Paradise

Rapporté par Khâlid bin Ma`dân :

Que `Umayr bin Al-Aswad lui a dit qu’il était allé trouver `Ubâdah bin as-Sâmit alors qu’il était dans sa maison au bord de la mer à Hims (Émèse) avec (sa femme) Umm Harâm. `Umayr a dit : « Umm Harâm nous a alors rapporté qu’elle avait entendu le Prophète (ﷺ) dire ceci : "Le Paradis sera accordé à la première armée de ma Nation qui partira en expédition en mer." » [Sahîh al-Bukhârî 2924]

La preuve que Mu`âwiyah (RadiAllahu `Anhu) faisait partie de la première armée :

Umm Harâm a dit :

فَقَالَتْ : ادْع اللَّهَ أَنْ يَجْعَلَنِي مِنْهُمْ ، فَقَالَ : أَنْتِ مِنْ الْأَوَّلِينَ ؛ فَخَرَجَت مَعَ زَوْجِهَا عُبَادَة بْنِ الصَّامِتِ غَازِيًا أَوَّل مَا رَكِبَ الْمُسْلِمُونَ الْبَحْرَ مَعَ مُعَاوِيَةَ

« Prie Allâh pour que je sois avec eux! » Il (le Prophète) a répondu : « Tu seras avec les premiers. » Plus tard, Umm Harâm accompagna son mari `Ubâdah bin as-Sâmit qui est allé pour le Jihâd et c’était la première fois que les Musulmans étaient partis dans une expédition en mer avec Mu`âwiyah (c.-à-d. menée par Mu`âwiyah). [Sahîh al-Bukhârî 2799]

Ibn Hajar al-`Asqalânî a commenté :

وقوله : قد أوجبوا " أي فعلوا فعلا وجبت لهم به الجنة .

La parole « (le Paradis sera) accordé » signifie que le Paradis est Wâjib pour eux. [Fath al-Bârî sous le commentaire du hadith discuté]

MU`AAWIYAH IS CONFIRMED TO BE IN PARADISE

Narrated KhaAlid bin Ma`daan:

That 'Umair bin Al-Aswad Al-Anasi told him that he went to 'Ubaadah bin As-Saamit while he was staying in his house at the sea-shore of Hims with (his wife) Umm Haraam. 'Umair said, Umm Haraam informed us that she heard the Prophet (ﷺ) saying, "Paradise is granted to the first batch of my followers who will undertake a naval expedition." [Sahih al-Bukhari 2924]

The proof that Mu`aawiyah (RadiAllahu `Anhu) was from the first army:

Umm Haraam said,

فَقَالَتْ : ادْع اللَّهَ أَنْ يَجْعَلَنِي مِنْهُمْ ، فَقَالَ : أَنْتِ مِنْ الْأَوَّلِينَ ؛ فَخَرَجَت مَعَ زَوْجِهَا عُبَادَة بْنِ الصَّامِتِ غَازِيًا أَوَّل مَا رَكِبَ الْمُسْلِمُونَ الْبَحْرَ مَعَ مُعَاوِيَةَ

"Invoke Allah to make me one of them." He (the Prophet) said, "You are among the first batch." Later on it happened that she went out in the company of her husband 'Ubaadah bin As-Saamit who went for Jihaad and it was the first time the Muslims undertook a naval expedition with Mu`aawiyah (i.e. led by Mu`aawiyah) [Sahih al-Bukhari 2799]

Ibn Hajar al `Asqalaani commented:

وقوله : قد أوجبوا " أي فعلوا فعلا وجبت لهم به الجنة .

The saying "(Paradise is) granted" meaning because if this Paradise is Waajib on them. [Fath al Baari under the commentary of the hadith discussed]

La Salafiyyah est la Vérité | Salafiyyah is the Truth

Shaykhul Islâm Ibn Taymiyyah a dit:

"Il n'y a aucune critique pour celui qui proclame la voie (Madhhab) des Salaf, qui s'y attache et qui s'y réfère. Il est plutôt obligatoire d'accepter cela de lui par accord unanime car la voie des Salaf n'est rien que la vérité (Haqq)."

Shaykhul Islam Ibn Taymiyyah said: 

"There is no criticism for the one who proclaims the way (madhhab) of the Salaf, who attaches himself to it and refers to it. Rather, it is obligatory to accept that from him by unanimous agreement because the way of the Salaf is nothing but the truth (Haqq)."
