Al-Imam Abou Bakr Al-Tartoushi Al-Maliki (m. 520 H) (رحمه الله) s’est fait demander :
« Qu’est-ce que notre maître savant dit à propos du Madhhab des Soufies?
Et sachez aussi – qu’Allah préserve votre temps – qu’un groupe d’hommes
se rassemble, et puis augmente en mention d’Allah l’Exalté, et en
mention de Muhammad (ﷺ)…et puis certains d’eux se lèvent debout et
dansent et tombent en état de malaises, jusqu’à ce qu’il devienne
inconscient, et ensuite ils obtiennent quelque chose à manger.
Est-ce qu’assister avec eux permis ou non? »
La réponse :
« Qu’Allah vous fasse miséricorde, le madhhab des Soufies est un de
gaspillage, d’ignorance et d’égarement. L’Islam n’est que le Livre
d’Allah et la Sounnah de Son Messager.
Et pour la danse et les
états de malaises, les premiers à effectuer ça sont les compagnons
d’Al-Samiri (un païen du temps de Moussa), quand il a fondé pour eux une
image d’un veau qui avait un son. Alors, ils ont commencé à danser
autour de ça et y évanouir devant. Donc (cette action), est la religion
des Kouffar (incroyants), et des adorateurs du veau…
Le Prophète
Mouhammad (ﷺ) asseyait avec ses compagnons, comme si les oiseaux étaient
debout sur leurs têtes (à cause) de leur dignité (tranquillité et
calme). Voilà pourquoi le dirigeant du pays musulman et ses assistants
doivent cesser (ces gens) de se réunir dans les mosquées et dans
n’importe quels autres endroits.
Il n’est pas permis à toute
personne, qui croit en Allah et à l’au-delà, de participer avec eux et
de les aider dans leur mal et dans leur gaspillage. Et cela, est le
madhhab de Malik, d’Abou Hanifa, d’Al-Shafa’i, d’Ahmad ibn Hanbal, et
d’autres parmi les savants des Musulmans. Et de la part d’Allah, nous
cherchons succès. »

Al-Imam Abu Bakr Al-Tartoushi al Maliki (d.520 H) (رحمه الله) was asked:
"What does our knowledgeable master say about the madhab of the Sufis?
And also know – may Allah preserve your time – that a group of men
gather, and then increase in the mentioning of Allah the Exalted, and
the mentioning of Muhammad (peace be upon him)...and then some of them
stand up and dance and fall into a state of faintness, until he falls
unconscious, and then they get something to eat.
Is attending with them permissible or not?"
The answer:
"May Allah have mercy on you, the madhab of the Sufis is that of
wastefulness, ignorance and misguidance. Islam is but the Book of Allah
and the Sunnah of His messenger.
As for the dancing and the
states of faintness, the first to perform this are the companions of
Al-Samiri (a pagan at the time of Musa alayhisalam), when he founded for
them an image of a calf that had a sound, so they started dancing
around it and fainting before it, thus (this action) is the religion of
the Kuffar (unbelievers), and the worshippers of the calf...
Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) used to sit with his companions, as
if birds were standing on their heads from their dignity (tranquility
and stillness). That is why the ruler of the muslim country and his
assistants are required to stop (these people) from gathering in Masjids
and in any other places.
It is not permissible for anyone that
believes in Allah and the hereafter to attend with them, and to assist
them in their evil and wastefulness, and that is the mahhab of; Malik,
Abu Hanifa, Al-Shafi, Ahmad ibn Hanbal, and others from the scholars of
the Muslims, and from Allah we seek success."
