Shaikh ul-Islaam Ibn Taymiyaah رحمه الله :

Si une personne prie le Taraawih selon les madhaabs de soit, Abu Hanifah, Shaafa’i et Ahmad, avec vingt rak'aah, ou selon le madhaab de Malik avec trente-six rak'aah, ou avec treize ou onze rak'aah, il a bien fait , comme l'imaam Ahmad a dit, car il n'y a rien pour spécifier le nombre. Donc, plus le nombre est grand ou petit, le nombre de rak'aah dépend de la durée du Qiyaam.

Shaykh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyah (rahimahullah) said:

If a person prays Taraaweeh according to the madhhabs of Abu Haneefah, al-Shaafa’i and Ahmad, with twenty rak’ahs, or according to the madhhab of Maalik, with thirty-
six rak’ahs, or with thirteen or eleven rak’ahs, he has done well, as Imam Ahmad said, because there is nothing to specify the number. So the greater or lesser number of
rak’ahs depends on how long or short the qiyaam (standing in the prayer) is.
