“Whoever has a favor done for him and says to the one who did it, ‘Jazak Allaahu khayran (May Allah reward you with goodness),’ has done enough to thank him.”

« En effet, Allah vous conseille dans les termes les plus forts possibles d’être bons envers les femmes, en effet Allah vous conseille dans les termes les plus forts possibles d’être bons envers les femmes, vous conseille dans les termes les plus forts possibles en ce qui concerne les femmes, effectivement elles sont vos mères, vos filles, vos sœurs, vos tantes paternelles (sœurs du père) et vos tantes maternelles (sœurs de la mère). En effet, un homme parmi les gens des deux livres (Juifs et Chrétiens) épouse une femme et ne la frappe pas, chacun d’entre eux continue à désirer son compagnon jusqu’à ce qu’il meurt dans la vieillesse. »

The Prophet - sallAllaahu `alayhi wa sallam - stood amongst the people and praised Allaah and exalted Him and said:

'Indeed Allaah advices you in the strongest possible terms to be good to women, indeed Allaah advices you in the strongest possible terms to be good to women, advices you in the strongest possible terms with regards to women, indeed they are your mothers, your daughters, your sisters, your paternal aunts (father's sisters) and your maternal aunts(mother's sisters). Indeed a man from the people of the two books (Jews & Christians) marries a woman and does not hit her, each one of them continues to desire his companion until he dies in old age.'

Les plus grands péchés auprès d’Allah sont :

1) Un homme qui épouse une fille et après avoir accompli son désir (d’elle) la divorce et la prive de son Mahr (dot du mariage donnée par tout homme à son épouse)

2) Un homme qui engage quelqu’un pour faire son travail et ne lui paie pas son salaire

3) Un homme qui tue un animal ou une insecte sans avoir aucun besoin urgent pour cela

Ibn `Umar (r.a) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) said :

The greatest of sins near Allah are (of):

1) A man who marries a girl and after having his desire fulfiled (from her) divorces her and (along with that ) deprives her of her mahr

2) A man who employes someone to have his work done and does not pay him his wages

3) A man who kills an animal or an insect without having any dire need for it

Rapporté par Jâbir ibn `Abdullâh Al-Ansârî :

Alors que nous étions assis avec le Messager d’Allah (ﷺ), un homme lui apporta de l’or égal en poids à un œuf, et dit : « Messager d’Allah, j’ai eu ceci d’une mine; prends-le; c’est Sadaqah. Je n’ai pas plus que cela. » Le Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) détourna son attention de lui. Puis, il vint à lui par sa droite et répéta les mêmes mots. Mais [le Prophète] détourna son attention de lui. Il vint ensuite à lui par sa gauche et répéta les mêmes mots. Mais il détourna [encore] son attention de lui. Il vint ensuite à lui par derrière. Le Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) prit alors [l’or] et le jeta. Si cela l’avait touché, il le ferait du mal ou le blesserait. Le Messager d’Allah dit donc : « L’un d’entre vous apporte tout ce qu’il possède et dit : "Ceci est Sadaqah." Ensuite, il s’assoit et tend sa main devant les gens [c.-à-d. il mendie]. La meilleure Sadaqah est celle qui laisse une compétence. »

Narrated Jaabir ibn `Abdullaah Al-Ansaaree:

While we were sitting with the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) a man brought him some gold equal in weight to an egg, and said: "Messenger of Allah, I have got this from a mine; take it; it is sadaqah. I have no more than this." The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) turned his attention from him. Then he came to him from his right side and repeated the same words. But he (the Prophet) turned his attention from him. He then came to him from his left side and repeated the same words. But he (again) turned his attention from him. He then came to him from behind. The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) took it and threw it away. Had it hit him, it would have hurt him or wounded him. The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "One of you brings all that he possesses and says: 'This is sadaqah.' Then he sits down and spreads his hand before the people. The best sadaqah is that which leaves a competence."

`Abdullah bin `Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that a man asked the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ), 'What part of Islaam is the best?' The Messenger -ﷺ- replied:

'That you feed people, and give Salaam (greetings of peace) to the one whom you know and the one whom you do not know.'

Il a établi cela afin de corrompre la foi des gens, et certains de ceux qui célèbre le Mawlid sont des mercenaires qui sont là pour faire de l’argent de cette célébration, tandis que d’autres sont des gens ordinaires qui imitent les autres et cherchent à remplir leurs émotions religieuses malgré que ce soit par une innovation.

During the French occupation of Egypt (centuries ago), Napoleon ordered that people should celebrate the Mawlid, and he donated to this project himself and attended it personally, because it entails opposing Islaamic legislation and included mixing between men and women, and is a form of following desires and committing prohibitions. (Taareekh Al-Jabarti 306/2)

He established it on the grounds of corrupting people's faith, and some of those who celebrate the Mawlid are mercenaries who are there in order to make money out of this celebration, while others are common people who imitate others and seek to fulfill their religious emotions even if it is through an innovation.

It is reported that the prophet (sallallahu `alayhi wa sallam) said:

A promise made by the believer orally is as strong (and binding on him) as a promise that he makes by striking his hand (on the hand of other person – this was a gesture of absolute agreement or finalization of a treaty or promise back then).

Abû Hurayrah a rapporté que le Prophète (ﷺ) demanda à Abul-Haytham : « As-tu un serviteur? » « Non, » répondit-il. Il dit : « Viens nous voir quand nous recevons des captifs. » On n’apporta que deux captifs au Prophète (ﷺ). Abul-Haytham vint le voir et le Prophète (ﷺ) dit : « Choisis entre eux. » « Choisis pour moi, Messager d’Allah, » répondit-il. Le Prophète (ﷺ) dit : « La personne qui est consulté (pour des conseils) est dans une position de confiance. Prends celui-ci. Je l’ai vu prier. Traite le bien. » L’épouse d’Abul-Haytham dit : « Tu ne seras pas à la hauteur des propos du Prophète (ﷺ) concernant [le serviteur] à moins que tu le libères. » « Il est libre, » déclara-t-il. Le Prophète (ﷺ) dit : « Allah n’a envoyé un Prophète ou Khalifah, sauf qu’il a deux confidents : un confident qui l’ordonne de faire ce qui est correct et interdit ce qui est mauvais, et un confident qui ne s’empêchera pas de vous corrompre. Quiconque est protégé du mauvais confident a été protégé. »

Abu Hurayra reported that the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, asked Abu'l-Haytham: "Do you have a servant?" "No," he replied. He said, "Come to us when we get some captives." The Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, was brought only two captives. Abu'l-Haytham came to him and the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said, "Choose between them." "Choose for me, Messenger of Allah," he replied. The Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said, "The person who is consulted (for advice) is in a position of trust. Take this one. I have seen him pray. Treat him well." Abu'l-Haytham's wife said, "You will not live up to the words of the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, about him until you set him free." "He is free," he stated. The Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said, "Allah did not send a Prophet or khalifa but that he has two confidants: a confidant who commands him to do what is correct and forbids what is bad, and a confidant who will not fall short in corrupting you. Anyone who is protected from the evil confidant has been protected."

It was narrated that Abu’l-Dardaa’ (may Allaah be pleased with him) said: the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “Allaah created the disease and the cure, so treat disease but do not treat it with anything that is haraam.”

Umm Salamah reported that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, would say when leaving the house, “In the name of Allah, I trust in Allah for there is no power or might but in Allah. Verily, we seek refuge in you from being misguided or misguiding others, from being oppressed or oppressing others, from behaving foolishly or being abused.”

Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Prophet (ﷺ) said, "He who believes in Allah and the Last Day, let him show hospitality to his guest; and he who believes in Allah and the Last Day, let him maintain good relation with kins; and he who believes in Allah and the Last Day, let him speak good or remain silent."
